Preschool Application

The Kenston Preschool, at Timmons Elementary School, is designed so that preschool children with an Individualized Education Program (IEP) receive educational services in an environment with typically developing peers. The program focuses on providing educational opportunities for all preschool children, which will enable them to grow, develop and learn from one another.  Children placed as typically developing peer models need to be potty trained, parents must provide their own transportation, and families must reside in the Kenston Local School District.

For families interested in sending their child to Timmons Preschool, as a typically developing peer role model, they must complete an application which is available by contacting Melissa Miller, Director of Special Education, PK-5 at 440-543-3013, and one can be emailed to you.   Screening for the program will be on January 29, 2021 from 11:30am-1:30pm, and February 12, 2021 between 11:30am-1:30pm.

For families of students who are already on an IEP and have moved into the district, please contact the Special Education office at 440-543-3013 for assistance.
