Dear Kenston Intermediate School Families,
The KIS staff and I are excited to welcome you back to school for the start of the 2020-2021 school year. A special welcome to our incoming fourth grade students and all the new families to the Kenston School District. Of course we are happy to welcome back our incoming fifth grade students as they embark on their final year at KIS.
Although students have not been in the building since March, our staff has been working hard to prepare for the new school year. Our custodial and maintenance staff have been thoroughly cleaning all areas of the building and adding many new safety features to promote the health and wellness of our staff and students. Teachers have been planning for the upcoming school year in order to ensure continued academic success of all students in these uncertain times. The entire staff looks forward to welcoming our students back to Kenston Intermediate School on Monday, August 31, 2020. We hope that you enjoy your final days of summer vacation. Please take a few minutes to review some important information listed below.
New to District Building Tours

Information and signup will be emailed to new families Tuesday, August 11th.
KIS Virtual Meet the Teacher
A short introduction video by each teacher will be posted to the KIS website by Friday, August 28th.
KIS Virtual Parent Orientation
Wednesday, September 16
Virtual meeting between parents and teacher to learn more about specifics to your child’s classroom. More information will be provided.
