Ohio Extended Learning Plan

In February, Governor Mike DeWine asked school districts to work with their communities to help students make up any learning that may have been lost or delayed because of COVID-19.  Schools were asked to design plans to meet students’ needs that could include, but are not limited to, ending the school year later than scheduled, beginning the new year early or extending the school day. Summer programs, tutoring or remote options also could be considered, especially for schools unable to provide consistent in-person learning. The governor asked school districts to provide their plans to the public and General Assembly by Thursday, April 1, 2021.
