Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms in our community that support our students on a daily basis through their love and commitment.
May will be a busy month at KIS. Please take a few minutes to learn more about many of the special events and activities that will be taking place this month. We look forward to a great end of the school year!

KIS DONATION DRIVE

KIS will be sponsoring a donation drive the week of May 10-14. Our PEAK Ambassadors have identified the Geauga Hunger Task Force and Rescue Village as two local organization that could use our support. Students can bring items listed below to be placed in a box in the school lobby that will be delivered to these two outstanding organizations. Thank you in advance for giving back to our community.

Rescue Village

FIELD DAY

Grade 5 – Thursday, May 13
Grade 4 – Friday, May 14
Rain Dates – Monday, May 17 and Tuesday, May 18

KMS MUSICAL

On Thursday, May 20th, KIS students will have the opportunity to enjoy the Kenston Middle School musical production of Into the Woods Jr. Homeroom teachers will escort student to the Robert A. Lee Auditorium at Kenston High School for the performance. In order to maintain appropriate physical distance there will be separate performances for grade 4 and grade 5 classes.

5th GRADE VISIT TO KMS

Fifth grade students will visit Kenston Middle School during the school day on Friday, May 28th. Students will be accompanied by their teacher and will have the opportunity to meet with staff from KMS along with taking a building tour. More information regarding the visit and important information for next school year will be shared by Mr. Fender and the KMS staff as they look forward to welcoming them to KMS for the 2021-2022 school year.
