Welcome Back, Virtual Learners! From Pat Brockway, Coordinator of Virtual Instruction

August 11, 2020

Dear Families,

I want to welcome you to the 2020-2021 school year!  I hope you all found a new normal to vacation and socialize with your family and friends and are ready to begin your Virtual Learning school year for the first semester.  I am delighted to continue in my 25th year at Kenston as the Coordinator of Virtual Instruction. Kenston values parents as partners with their learner and their teacher(s) for success.  We would like to share our commitment in supporting the virtual learning environment to provide a rich experience for our students.

The Virtual Learning Option will be taught by Kenston educators, utilize the Kenston curriculum and follow the same daily building schedule along with their peers who are attending in-person. The teachers will facilitate lessons and learning with students who are participating virtually via Google Classroom and Google Meet.  Kenston respects the decisions of parents and students who have selected the Virtual Learning classroom and welcome all of you.

Please view the “Link to Slides” below as it will provide specific information for the Virtual Instruction for K-12th grade.  Your child’s success is important to me so please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns (440) 543-9677, ext. 1180 or email me at:  pat.brockway@kenstonapps.org

Forever a Bomber,

Patricia Brockway

Coordinator of Virtual Instruction
