UPDATE: KIS Water Damage Board Presentation

January 12, 2023

Dear Kenston Families,

Progress continues to move forward as we work to return Kenston Intermediate School students and staff back to their own building as quickly and safely as possible after water pipes burst over Winter Break.

At the January Board of Education Meeting, Jeremy McDevitt, Assistant Superintendent for Business Operations and Human Resources, presented an overview and update on the project.

This week, our 4th and 5th grade students and staff have done an outstanding job transitioning to their new temporary classrooms. I have been impressed with their flexibility and resilience. I also cannot say enough about the warm welcome that the students and staff at Timmons and KMS extended to members of the Kenston Schools family. Witnessing everyone embrace this challenge has been truly uplifting.

Again, I appreciate your support. Please get in touch with me if you have any questions. I will keep you updated as we progress with this project.

Sincerely,
Steven A. Sayers
Superintendent
