| Dear Kenston Community,
Progress continues as we plan for the return of the 4th and 5th grade students to Kenston Intermediate School. Unfortunately, we did have some unexpected developments in the 5th grade classrooms. Now that the classroom materials have been returned to the 5th grade classrooms, the professional advice of the Industrial Hygienist is to conduct an additional round of air quality testing in the 5th grade classrooms. Therefore, our 5th grade students will not be on campus for in-person classes Monday, January 30, 2023 and Tuesday, January 31, 2023. Please be advised that assignments will be posted by your child’s teachers.
For the 4th grade students, the Industrial Hygienist confirmed that the remainder of the building is safe and ready for students. All 4th grade students will report to Kenston Intermediate School on Monday, January 30, 2023.
We do apologize for this change in plans, however it is of the utmost importance that we take the steps needed to ensure safety of our students and staff. We appreciate your understanding.
