PRESCHOOL ROLE MODEL TUITION-BASED ENROLLMENT & APPLICATION

The Kenston Preschool at Timmons Elementary School is designed so that preschool children with an Individualized Education Program (IEP) receive educational services in an environment with typically developing peers. The program focuses on providing educational opportunities for all preschool children, which will enable them to grow, develop and learn from one another.

For families interested in sending their child to Timmons as a typically developing peer role model, they must complete a screening packet which is available below, and return it to Katie Seifried by Monday, November 27, 2023. The screening will take place on December 1, 2023, 10am-11am or 2:00pm-3:00pm at the Timmons building. You may either scan/email the packet to katie.seifried@kenstonapps.org, or you may drop it off at the Timmons Elementary School office attention Katie Seifried. Children placed as typically developing peer models need to be potty trained, parents must provide their own transportation, parents must fulfill the tuition requirement and families must reside in the Kenston Local School District.

For families of students who are already on an IEP or have recently moved to the district, please contact the Special Education office at 440-543-3013 for assistance.
