September 1, the Kenston Athletic Boosters held the 2018 Frank Gibas Invitational. The event was a tremendous success with a record number of 51 teams participating and also record attendance. For the first time, a Kenston Youth run was included during the Invitational and it was a big hit. Finally, KAB raised significant funds during the event that we will use to support the Kenston Athletic Teams. Thank you to Race Directors Paul Silk and Elaine McConnell, in addition to Coach Ickes and all the volunteer XC families, for managing the biggest and most competitive XC event in Northeast Ohio Labor Day weekend.
