5th Grade D.A.R.E Graduation

Hello 5th grade parents,

This is a friendly reminder that we ask you to join us this Friday, December 13th for our D.A.R.E. graduation ceremony.  The ceremony will be held in the KIS Gymnasium beginning at 1:45pm with doors opening at 1:30pm. You will have an opportunity to see what the students have worked on over the past several months and gain further understanding of how our district P.E.A.K. and PlayBlue initiatives sit at the forefront of student learning.  Speakers for the event include students who have been chosen to read their D.A.R.E. essays, Bainbridge Police Chief Jon Bokovitz, D.A.R.E. Officer Brian Reardon and members of the KIS P.E.A.K. and PlayBlue committees.

Students should wear their D.A.R.E. T-shirts for the celebration.
At the conclusion of the program, students will return to their classrooms for dismissal.  If you choose to take your student home with you, please do so by following the regular “pickup” process by sending a note with your child that morning and meeting them in the cafeteria at dismissal.
If you have any questions, please call the KIS office at 440-543-9722.

Sincerely,

Adam Fender

Principal, KIS
