Welcome, Kenston Class Of 2038!

2025/26 Kindergarten Registration

Children who will be five (5) years of age on or before September 30, 2025, are eligible to register for Kindergarten during the 2025-2026 school year.

Kenston offers a full or half-day Kindergarten program. The full-day option is tuition-based.
The cost is $3,550.

Full Day: 8:35 am – 3:20 pm
Half Day: 8:35 am – 11:45 am

Registration For Full Day Kindergarten Concludes March 14, 2025, (to be included in the Full Day Kindergarten Lottery).

Only the Parent/Guardian can complete a Student Registration.  Registrations must be completed on a computer, not a tablet or mobile device.  If you are unable to access the online registration, please check and disable your pop-up blockers.

Registration Packet/Forms

Follow the step-by-step directions to complete your child’s online registration, saving as you go.  Make a note of your Confirmation Number (so that you can return to your application, if needed.)

On the final page, you will electronically sign and click the Red Submit button.  You must click the Red Submit button, or your online registration will NOT be processed.

New Kenston Family - Enrolling your first child at Kenston - click on start new registration

Existing Kenston Family - Currently have a child attending the Kenston Schools (Kindergarten-12th Grade) 

  • Log in to Infinite Campus with your username and password

  • Click on More and then Annual Census Verification

  • Under Annual Census Verification, select New Student Registration - start in 2025/26

Please schedule a time to complete registration by Friday, March 14, 2025 (to be included in the Full Day Kindergarten Lottery) or by April 4, 2025, for half-day Kindergarten.

After you have completed the online registration for your child.  Please schedule an appointment to meet in person at the Kenston Board of Education Office and submit your student’s paperwork.

Registration Documents

Here are the documents/forms that you will bring or complete as part of your registration.

Documents to bring with you:

  • Photo ID of parent/guardian of the registering student (driver’s

    license/passport)

  • Child’s Birth Certificate (original or certified copy)

  • Residency Form - Homeowner (if you are renting or living with a district resident, please request those forms from Chrissy Aurich at the Board of Education Office.)

    • Proofs of Residency will be required at the time of the enrollment appointment. The list of acceptable proofs is listed on the residency forms.

  • Home Language Survey

  • Tuition Document and Deposit Check

    (*$250 payable to Kenston Board of Education, Memo: Student's Name)

  • Custody Paperwork from a legal separation or divorce (if applicable)

  • Guardianship Paperwork (if applicable)

  • School Entrance Medical Record

  • Immunization Records

Reserve Your Time For Kindergarten Screening

Kindergarten Screening will be held on April 29, 30, and May 1.

Kindergarten screenings are a great way to familiarize your child with their new school, and it gives us an opportunity to meet your child.  In general, the screening will evaluate a range of developmental tasks, including self-care skills, language development, cognitive skills, gross motor skills, and fine motor skills.

Register For Safety Town

Bainbridge Auburn Safety Town is a five-day summer educational program offered by Bainbridge Police and Fire Departments. It instructs incoming kindergartners on traffic safety, school bus safety, the use of 911, stranger danger, the work of police officers and firefighters, bicycle safety, water safety, and more.

Safety Town is free of charge and open to all children who will be attending kindergarten in the Kenston School District

The program will take place at the Kenston Intermediate School Gymnasium (17419 Snyder Road, Chagrin Falls, OH 44023). Each session consists of five days, running from Monday to Friday, on the following dates: July 7-11 or July 14-18.  Register for Safety Town here.

There are 5 sessions to choose from:

7/7-7/11 8:00am – 9:15am

7/7-7/11 9:45am – 11:00am

7/7-7/11 12:00pm – 1:15pm

7/14-7/18 8:00am - 9:15am

7/14-7/18 9:45am - 11:00am

Also, be sure to sign up for the SAFETY TOWN PARENT ACADEMY held on Tuesday & Wednesday during your child's session.  Parent Academy gives you the opportunity to meet and hear from Bainbridge Police Chief Jon Bokovitz, Bainbridge Fire Chief Lou Ann Metz, and Kenston Community Executive Director Jennifer Moore about the programs and operations that support your children at school and in the community.  Register for Safety Town Parent Academy here.
