The technology vision for Kenston Local School District is to provide and utilize technology to impact student achievement and prepare students to use the tools of the modern world.  We accomplish this by creating an educational environment that effectively integrates technology into all areas of both curriculum and administrative functioning.  The vision provides for technology to be at the point of instruction and to be an integral component of the learning environment.

Technology is not a stand-alone initiative, but a tool to support content and learning through new resources and teaching strategies.  Through the use of technology, students are able to develop higher-order thinking and critical reasoning skills of academic content.

All technology forms and acceptable use agreements are sent home as part of our yearly online census verification form.  These technology forms and FAQ sheets can also be found on our district forms page.

Kenston High School

• 1 to 1 Chromebooks for all students 8th through 12th grade

• These devices travel between school and home with the students

Kenston Middle School

• 1 to 1 Chromebooks for all students 4th through 7th grade

• These devices travel between school and home with the students

Timmons Elementary School

• 1 to 1 Chromebooks for all students Kindergarten  through 3rd grade

• These devices travel between school and home with the students in 2nd and 3rd grade

  • Devices in K – 1st grade travel home as needed

• Students receive a ‘Technology Integration Class’ once per week
