Scholarship/financial Aid Information

Lake/Geauga Educational Assistance Foundation (LEAF) is a non-profit organization that provides guidance on college financial aid. Kenston’s LEAF advisor will be available throughout the school year for in-person and virtual student/family meetings regarding college funding, the FAFSA, the CSS Profile, scholarships, loans, and other financial aid-related details.  LEAF will also present free virtual information sessions throughout the school year on career and college-related topics. Links to the most recent LEAF E-Newsletters will be posted in the Bomber Bulletin each month. View LEAF for more information.

Due to the changes in the FAFSA, the Financial Aid Night presentation, provided by LEAF will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024 in the Auditorium.

Attention Juniors & Seniors and Parents: The Kenston High School Guidance Department recommends seniors, juniors, and their families to view College Financial Aid 101 with LEAF (all grades are welcome to watch).  The video is a 35-minute guide, including the timeline for the college financial aid process, the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), the CSS Profile, institutional and local scholarships, loans, and more.  Information will be presented by Mrs. Renee Morgan, LEAF Financial Aid Advisor. You can view the video presentation here.  If you would like an individual meeting to discuss scholarships, loans, and filing deadlines, a LEAF Financial Aid Advisor is available to meet with students and families virtually during the school day and on selected weeknights. Also, the Senior Financial Aid informational packet can be found here.
