Dear Parents,
We wanted to reach out to you regarding the upcoming Valentine’s Day Classroom Parties, which will take place on Friday, February 12th. We are excited for our students to enjoy the opportunity to share positive notes with one another and engage in a PTO supported service learning project that aligns with the building PEAK philosophy.
You and your child may be in the process of selecting the Valentine they will want to distribute during the classroom party. We want to assure you and your child that we are taking the following steps to maintain the health and safety of everyone.
- If the Valentine is placed into an envelope, please do not seal the envelope unless doing so by a sticker only.
- Valentines should be brought to school on Friday, February 5th.
- Valentines will be sorted so that they can sit untouched for a full week.
- Students will be able to read their received Valentines during the party on February 12th.
We want to remind you that Valentines may not be accompanied by food or candy. Valentines with non food attachments are permitted. Your child’s teacher may provide further directions if necessary. We want to thank you for your cooperation so that we can maintain a safe party experience for our students.
