KIS Informational Update for April 2019

Dear Parents/Guardians,

As we enter into the final several weeks of the 2018/19 School year, I would like to thank you for your continued support of KIS and Kenston Schools. The partnership between school and home has contributed to a successful year and we look forward to finishing strong. With that said, please find the following information to help you plan for the final several weeks.
 
Monday, April 1: Also an “E” Day at KIS
We look to celebrate the Cleveland Indians Home Opener by wearing our Cleveland Indians gear and encourage our students to do the same!
 
4th Grade CoGat and Iowa information
Results of both the CoGat and Iowa Assessments will be mailed this week, providing parents with information regarding both. Please call the KIS office if you have questions regarding the information that will be provided.
 
AIR State Of Ohio Assessments
Students will be bringing home detailed information regarding our State Assessment schedule. You will also be receiving the same information on Tuesday night via email from me. Please call the KIS office if you have any questions regarding this information once received.

5th Grade Maturation Night- Tuesday, April 23
All 5th grade parents are welcomed to join Ms. Trimble, Mrs. Robertson, Mrs. DiMarco and me as we review the upcoming 5th grade maturation unit that will be taught to all 5th grade students.  The presentation will begin promptly at 7pm on April, 23 in the KIS cafeteria.  Do not hesitate to call the KIS office if you have questions.
 
Kenston Schools Fine Arts Festival April 28,29,30
Find time to visit the Kenston High School gymnasium and auditorium to experience the great work being done by our students in the area of Fine Arts.  A detailed schedule can be found on the district calendar and will be made available to all students and parents in future district communications
