College Bound: Von Houk

Von Houk has officially committed to attending Ohio University in the fall! Von’s following the Bobcat tradition; his parents, aunts, and great-grandmothers attended there. Also, his grandmother worked there, and his grandfather was a professor for 37 years. Von’s ecstatic to be a fourth generation Bobcat! He said, “I am going to OU because I love the tradition, the feeling of home, my family is fairly close, and I have been a Bobcat since birth.”

Von plans on studying mechanical engineering or statistics. In his free time, he is considering participating in Club Hockey. He already frequents the university’s football games and plans to continue doing so! “I love the green campus and the history behind the school; it’s really neat.” Von’s going to miss his friends, family, and dog, Duke. Congratulations, Von!

WRC Bowling Tournament

Saturday, February 11, was a long day for the Bomber Bowlers. Facing the seven other teams in the conference was no easy task.
