Kenston Baseball plays at Progressive Field

The Kenston Bombers baseball team will be playing at Progressive Field in the CIC Hardball Classic. The players are looking forward to this event as it will be their second year in a row playing at Progressive. Last year the Bombers played against St. Ignatius; a game they ultimately lost. This year they are looking forward to winning against University School at noon. The players will get to take batting practice in the cages and walk the tunnels under the stadium before the game begins. The players will then be taken up to the field where they will warm-up prior to the game. The game will be on a two hour time limit with no innings beginning once it expires. With this being the last time the Seniors get a chance to play here they are very excited to be able to be on a major league field for possibly there last time. Senior infielder, Matt Schlessel, says he is very excited to play on a MLB field.
