Interview with Mrs. Kardamis

Have you ever wondered what Inspired the guidance counselors to become who they are today? After talking with Mrs. Kardamis, I learned that she realized she was interested in this job in 2005 after working in the business world. She told me, “Helping people was what I wanted to do. So I went back and started my masters course.” After high school she attended Tiffin University to get her business degree. Then continued on to get her masters degree in school counseling at John Carroll University. She started working at Kenston High School in 2008. I finished our interview by asking what her favorite part of the job is, she replied with, “Just making connections with kids. It’s fun because you all come with very different backgrounds so it’s fun getting to know you guys.”
