Juniors and Seniors Will ‘Break It Down’ at Kenston Koachella

Seniors sporting formal wear and juniors wearing active gear will break it down once again at this year’s After Prom Fashion Show on Friday, March 15 at 7:00 p.m.

This year’s event, Kenston Koachella, is raising money for After Prom, so the more participation the more activities that will be offered at the annual post-prom party.

“I am very excited to see some of the moves students bring to the stage, but I am hoping my group comes out on top,” said senior Evan Brichmann.

At the end of the show there will be a celebration dance on stage for seniors with a special surprise.

Eleventh graders involved in the event may select their group’s attire or select a sponsor that will provide clothing.

Junior Aidan Zak said, “I am super excited to finally be a part of the show. I’ve watched in years past and everyone looked like they are enjoying themselves. I look forward to laughing and rehearsing with my group and getting ready for the big moment.”

For participants, there will be a mandatory dress rehearsal held on Thursday March 14, during an assigned time.

Each participant must sell four presale tickets, which are $6 each, and should have the $24 before the dress rehearsal.

Attendees can purchase their tickets from a member or at the door on March 15. The proceeds go to this year’s After Prom and future classes.
