Evan Iliev (#9) and Ryan Tien (#13) are Kenston’s top two strikers. This lethal combo has already scored eight goals in just three games and they each have their own hat trick. Ryan scored three goals against Painesville Harvey and Evan has scored three times against Cuyahoga Falls and twice against Chardon.
As they attempt to stay on top of the conference table, the Kenston Soccer Team’s future is looking promising. When I interviewed one of our captains, Ryan Tien, his responses seemed both critical and humble.
“How do you feel about the soccer team’s performance so far?
“Good but we lack motivation and effort at points”
“Is there anyone who stands out to you?”
“No, since we have been working together and teamwork is our strength rather than having an all-star player”
“How do you feel about playing Shaker this weekend?”
“Looking forward to a good game.”
If you’re down to watch a good game, come support the Kenston Boy’s Soccer team at Bomber Stadium on Saturday, September 8th as they go against Shaker Heights at home.
