A Quiet Place Phenomenon

Recently released, critically acclaimed A Quiet Place has horrified the world. This instant classic has entranced movie goers with its silent but deadly performances. The well-known cast consists of John Kransinski (The Office); Emily Blunt (Into the Woods); Noah Jupe (Wonder); and appearing for the first time young deaf actress Millicent Simmonds, all of whom star in this incredible film. The movie follows an adapted version of a story told by Bryan Woods and Scott Beck (The Screenplay Writers). The movie focuses on the Abbot family, Lee and Evelyn Abbot (John Krasinski and Emily Blunt [real life husband and wife]) with their three children (Noah Jupe, Millicent Simmonds, Cade Woodward), following an invasion of Earth by sightless creatures with hypersensitive hearing.  As they struggle to survive their predicament of a post-apocalyptic world, their son’s death, and Evelyn’s pregnancy in their fight for life. Nathan Gaskins said, “This movie makes the most social people not want to talk.” Hannah Kepreos added, “It is silently terrifying.” This horror flick is an incredible film that demands to be seen in theaters.
