When you’re bored and have nothing better to do, you can always ask Google for interesting facts. Just type in, I’m feeling curious and you’ll soon have answers to questions you didn’t even ask. Here are a few things you can learn from just I’m feeling curious.

Do crabs grow their legs back?

Crabs that have lost legs can regenerate them over time. The leg breaks off at a special joint. Before molting, a new limb bud, with all the remaining leg segments, grows out of the joint. After molting, the new leg is smaller than the others.

Do Huntsman make webs?

As adults, huntsman spiders do not build webs, but hunt and forage for food: their diet consists primarily of insects and other invertebrates, and occasionally small skinks and geckos. They live in the crevices of tree bark, but will frequently wander into homes and vehicles.

Why does salt speed up the boiling process?

If you look at the heat capacity of salt water, you will find that it is less than pure water. In other words, it takes less energy to raise the temperature of the salt water 1°C than pure water. This means that the salt water heats up faster and eventually gets to its boiling point first.
