Today is the day of the opening of the Indians and Cibik’s Dairy Island! The Indians take on the Royals at 4:10 p.m. for the 25th home opener at Progressive Field. At 2 p.m. with the Right Field District Block Party there will be some pre-game fun. It’s recommended fans are in their seats an hour before game time. The pregame ceremony will honor last year’s team by unveiling the AL Central Division Pennant. The Indians plan to celebrate the 22-game win streak, Corey Kluber’s second Cy Young Award, and Francisco Lindor and Jose Ramirez’s Silver Slugger Awards. On top of this, Dairy Island is opening today at 11 o’ clock for the season. Cibiks’s Dairy Island has recently just updated their sounds system including new speakers, and a new TV for the menu. They have all new homemade flavors, sundaes, frozen custard, and everything in between. Take it from Carson Smith, a senior in high school, saying, “I love Dairy Island, it has everything you need!” So don’t forget to stop on by to treat yourself this afternoon and the rest of summer!
