Student Athletes Take Their Careers to the Next Level

Student athletes at Kenston High School work very hard both in the classroom and in their sport. Kenston is very proud of the time and effort that these students contribute in order to be successful. Each year, a select few of these students are recognized for their hard work and are able to continue their athletic careers in college. “I chose Clarkson because of the great engineering program that they have there. I also chose it because of how close Clarkson is to the Adirondack Mountains so I can go hiking and snowboarding on some very cool mountains. “It has always been my dream to play volleyball in college, so when I was contacted by various schools it was a dream come true. “Allegheny was the first school I visited and it was my number one from the start. I would say it’s my number one because of its research programs and the fact that I get to play golf. I started playing my freshman year and it was my favorite sport ever since so getting to play in college is like a dream. Plus, I have an alligator golf cover, which is Allegheny’s mascot so I guess it was meant to be!”
