WEDNESDAY: ATTENTION ALL ATHLETES! Looking for service hours? Volunteer to read to the youngsters at the First Annual Timmons Elementary Family Literacy Night on Wednesday, March 2nd at 6:30. ATTENTION ALL ROYAL Wannabes: Geauga County Maple Festival’s Queen and King Contest. Applications can be found on the Maple Festival’s website. Contest is now open to freshman through seniors residing or attending school in Geauga County. Preliminary judging will be on Tappin Sunday, March 6th! This year has a first prize scholarship for the winning contestant as well as other prizes and perks! The Geauga Dept. on Aging is LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS to help senior citizens with spring clean-up beginning April 9. Flexible days, hours, location. Help rake yards or flower beds, weed, clean up yard debris or wash windows. Just a few hours will be a huge help to seniors who can no longer do these chores. Chagrin Valley Women’s Club is due in Guidance by NOON this Friday, March 4.

Kenston Community Education Scholarship must be mailed or returned to KCE by Tuesday, March 8.

Bainbridge Women’s Club Scholarship must be returned to Guidance or the Bainbridge Library no later than next Friday, March 11.

Kenston Academic Booster Scholarship – deadline is March 18.

The MAAK Scholarship application –Seniors must be (or have been) a member of concert and/or marching band, chorus or the dance team. Deadline is March 18.
