Twelve for Twelve: KHS qualifies for States!

The Kenston High School Science Olympiad Team placed sixth overall and qualified fourth for the State Tournament at the Case Western Reserve University Regional Tournament on Saturday, February 20. This is the twelfth time Kenston has qualified for the State Tournament in its twelve year history. CWRU recognizes the first five placings, but only gives awards to the first three placings.

Individual Results

Forensics – Carmaletta Hinson, Leander Held – 4th place
Game On – William Parsons, Luke Ballard – 2nd place
Geologic Mapping – Ashley Dvorak, Austin Borland – 3rd place
Invasive Species – Carmaletta Hinson, Ryan Sauder – 1st place

Congratulations to all of the Team members! The Team’s next tournament will be the State Tournament at the Ohio State University April 9th.
