Michaela Barnes is in the running for the Ohio National Guard JJHuddle Ohio High School Athlete of the Week. She scored 20 points to surpass 1,000 for her career in a 50-36 loss to Ravenna. As of 2/16, at 6 p.m., the rankings for the top three places were as following; In first place was Allie Rutter from St. Wendelin with 794 votes, second place was Nicolette DeVincentis from Liberty Benton with 694 votes and in third place was Michaela Barnes from Kenston with 13 votes. As of 2/18 at 11:40 a.m., Michaela Barnes took the lead with 14,655 votes leaving Allie Rutter from St. Wendelin in second place with 7,855 votes. In third place is Nicolette DeVincentis from Liberty Benton with 1,464 votes. Allie Rutter’s votes are slowly increasing so we need your help to keep Michaela in first place!
