Snow, snow, and more snow! What does that mean for students? Snow days! Sophomore Mark Magnasco said, “There is no better feeling in the world than when you wake up to that phone ringing and school is cancelled.” Some are not so lucky and don’t get to go back to sleep due to the fact that they already are showered and ready for the day by the time school calls off. Whether you are ready to go for the day or not, snow days can’t be sad. Some spend the day off in bed until 12:30 p.m. and others are up right at 6:30 a.m. with nothing to do but wait until the sun comes up. No matter what you do, a day without the stresses and tires of school in the week is a day well spent. Mr. C said, “Snow days are God’s gift to students and teachers alike. It’s like a bonus day in your life; you can do anything you want.” We have used 3 of our 15 or so snow days so far this year and hopefully there are more to come. Whether we need to use them or not, it sure would be nice to use them up!
