The Girls Bowling Team placed second at Sectionals on Saturday, and are advancing to Districts this Sunday. Along with the second place team finish, 2 out of the 5 girls placed top 15 individually, out of over 60 bowlers, and all placed in the top 25. Annie Rizzo placed 7th and Lily Huey placed 15th. On the Boys Team, Zach Eyler placed 6th, as well.
The Kenston High School Science Olympiad Team for competing at the Mentor Invitational this last weekend. Fifty two teams from five different states competed at Mentor High School last weekend. Congratulations to the entire team and the following students for placing eighth or better in their events. Next competition is the Regional Final February 20th – wish them continued success!”

Juniors and Seniors- It’s time to start thinking about the annual Kenston After Prom Fashion show, which will be Friday, March 4. Get your groups and get ready! Sign-up in Guidance 2/4, 2/5, 2/11 and 2/12. Deadline is 2/17! The Fashion Show is a fundraiser for After Prom, so the Kenston PTO needs as many people as possible to make the show a success.
College Credit Plus—Grades 7-12:
Kenston High School will host the annual College Credit Plus Info Night on February 18 here at KHS.
ALL students interested in participating in College Credit Plus for the 2016-17 school year (taking high school and college courses at the same time) MUST attend Kenston’s info session – this includes those who are already in the program, those planning to take classes off-campus and those who plan to take CCP classes offered here at KHS. Mark the date on your calendar. One parent and the student must attend. There are several important changes for the coming year and intent forms must be signed and turned in by the MANDATED DEADLINE – March 18. See Guidance if you have questions.
