  • Board Votes to Place Levy on May 4 Ballot

    At the January 11 Board of Education meeting, the Board passed the second of two resolutions to place a 6.5 mill levy on the May 4 ballot. The resolutions will now be submitted to the Geauga County Board of Elections for placement on the ballot. The 6.5 mill combined levy is for a continuing period of time and includes 4.75 mills for current operating expenses and 1.75 mills for permanent improvements. This combined issue is to maintain educational programs funding the district’s daily operations and protect our communities investment in school facilities providing funds for ongoing maintenance.
