Come see a wonderful event on February 7th celebrating the advancements in women’s sports. It is a great way to connect with the community and learn more about sports. Olivia Muzzio, a fifth grader said, “I am excited to go; I can’t wait to try the Zumba!!” Throughout the evening, girls from grades third to fifth come together and learn about different sports of their liking. This may include biking, Zumba, gymnastics, basketball and so many more. Girls can expect to hear from a special inspirational speaker and get goody bags at the end of the night. Last year, the community had the pleasure of hearing from a gold medal Olympian named Dominique Moceanu. Furthermore, girls from National Honors Society will be there giving out a helpful hand to anyone in need. Without their help, and many other donations from businesses around the community coming together, this night would have not been possible. This creates a lovely atmosphere for young girls to dream big and to let them know that their community is there to support them.
