Mr. Tripi’s Final Race!

This weekend Mr.Tripi is in Athens, Greece. He is participating in his final marathon. Mr. Tripi started running marathons at the age of forty. To travel to Greece and run a marathon has been on his bucket list since he started running. There will be 18,500 runners that will run the Authentic Marathon course creating a human chain of 42,195 meters from Marathon to Athens! It takes perseverance and the strength of the human mind to complete a race of this kind. Mr. Tripi said, “I wanted my last marathon to be memorable. It will be special to run in the footsteps of Pheidippides. He ran from Marathon Greece to Athens Greece 2500 years ago to announce victory over the invading Persians at the battle of Marathon and became the inspiration for the modern day marathon. I thought that this race would be the perfect race to do as my last marathon.” The race will take place Sunday, November 12th. Good Luck Mr. Tripi! Kenston is rooting for you.
