Explore Mt. St. Helens camping at Seaquest State Park (all day, 100mi)

Email From Kathy posted at 4:15 p.m. (I had asked Kathy for details about the stolen tent): I assumed they knew. But while we were hiking in Hoh rainforest someone went to our campsite and stole one of our tents. They left behind all the sleeping bags inside the tent on the tarp. We reported with National Park service but doubt we will get anything back. Lost signal for a couple days. I have a short window now. We had an amazing hike on Mt. Rainier and the clouds cleared for some spectacular views.

Email From Kathy: Hello all- All good. Hoh rainforest hike to waterfalls. Exploring the tide pool aquatic life at Ruby beach. And cooking dinner on our coastal campsite.
Parents: we are all doing fine in spite of our tent theft. The belongings inside the tent remain. No need to overnight anything to us. We are safe and are prepared with backup supplies. Expect to hear from your child within the next few days as the cell Signals improve.

Early morning flight (4:00 AM) from Cleveland Hopkins airport to  Seattle, WA. Precious Cargo will pick us up and drive to Deception Pass State Park to camp.  (2 hrs, 100 miles)
