The soccer girls continued their winning streak Tuesday night as they played their second conference game against Willoughby South. The first half ended with the score of 0-0, but Kenston took the lead of 3-0 in the second half. The goals were score by senior, Elise Markley; sophomore, Elyse Myles; and junior, Sofija Raudins. Sophomore, Claire Nidy said, “The team came through in the second half, and I think it is because of the good coaching during half time.” The Kenston girls beat Willoughby South in a shut-out, and they are very excited about their second conference win! Their next game is Saturday, September 9 at Solon High School with JV at 11:00 a.m. and varsity at 1:00 p.m.
