Hola! Welcome to the Spanish Club Web Page!
We have already had many fun opportunities through this years club, and it is never too late to join>
Join us every other Wednesday in homeroom for fun Spanish activities! We dance in our meetings and have food parties from time to time of different cultural Hispanic foods.
At our upcoming meetings we will be talking about a charity project called La Pulsera Project. During this we will be selling bracelets from April 5th through 14th to donate money to Nicaraguan children and young adults for education and funding businesses; and teaching fun Spanish units to students in the Intermediate Building. Make sure to see Señorita Verbic or Señorita Scola if you would like to sign up to sell bracelets during your lunch block!
This year we are also hoping to partake in the Film Festival at Tower City and see a film after school. We are also interested in possibly visiting a Puerto Rican restaurant in May. Stay tuned for more information on these two events.
Friday, February 25th, the executive committee of our club, as well as some members will be heading to the intermediate school to teach different lessons in Spanish to the students! They will teach things such as the ABCs, numbers, farm animals, and dancing. See club members for more details if you are interested in joining us on an upcoming Friday.
