U.S. News and World Report 2018 Best High Schools highlighted Kenston as one of the top-performing public schools in Ohio and the country. Kenston received a silver medal. “It is an honor, once again, for Kenston High School to be recognized as a Best High School from US News & World Report. The recognition received is a tribute to our outstanding students and staff for their exceptional work and efforts in our classrooms. We have shown continued progress in this national ranking. The results are a direct reflection of our district goals,” said Principal Tom Gabram. The rankings are based on state assessments in math and reading, graduation rates and how well students are prepared for college – using Advanced Placement test data as the benchmark for success. On the Ohio list, Kenston ranked 36th with a national ranking of 981. The U.S. News rankings include data on more than 20,500 public schools nationwide.
