Message from Nancy Santilli
Providing a safe environment where your child can learn is my priority.
Let me express my sincere concern and continued well wishes for both Kenston staff and students who suffered illnesses this past week.
Please know, our Kenston team is working diligently on plans to continue the learning process while ensuring that all faculty and students are safe.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our local first responders, especially the Bainbridge Fire Department and Chief Lou Ann Metz along with Auburn Fire Department and Chief Jon Bokovitz of the Bainbridge Police Department, for their dedication and commitment to our students and staff.
We have halted the roofing project while we await reports from Chagrin/Southeast Regional Hazardous Materials Response Team and an Independent engineering construction consultant who specializes in roofing projects. I will keep you apprised of their findings.
Thank you again for your continued patience and support as we work together through this unexpected and challenging situation.
I appreciate being part of such a caring community committed to our schools.
Kenston Middle School will be CLOSED – Thursday, October 5 and Friday, October 6.
Thursday, October 5 between the hours of 9-11am or 5-7pm, students and parents can come and retrieve belongings from the classroom and lockers. Please use the gym entrance.
