U.S. News and World Report 2017 Best High Schools highlighted Kenston as one of the top-performing public schools in Ohio and the country. Kenston received a silver medal. “We are pleased to be included in this ranking. It is one piece of data that contributes to measuring the overall success of the district,” said Superintendent Nancy Santilli. The rankings are based on state assessments in math and reading, graduation rates and how well students are prepared for college – using Advanced Placement test data as the benchmark for success. On the Ohio list, Kenston ranked 48th with a national ranking of 1,166. The U.S. News rankings include data on more than 22,000 public schools nationwide.
