The Guidance Department offers opportunities for students to interact in a safe, supportive environment within a small group setting. The purpose of these groups is to meet academic and/or social/emotional needs and enhance student success. Groups run on a quarterly basis and develop based on student need. Topics may include, but are not limited to, study skills, social skills, changing families or grief/loss.
Students are invited to join these groups through self-request, teacher/administrator, parent(s) or guardian(s) or counselor referral. Group typically run once a week for six to eight weeks and are facilitated by Eileen Kubas, School Counselor.
A student must have parent permission to participate. Permission slips will be available on this site once group meeting dates have been established or through contacting Eileen Kubas at firstname.lastname@example.org.
